DRIVER’S AGE: For categories Α, Β, AA, BA and F, the minimum age requirement for drivers is 21 years, whereas for all other categories it is 25 years of age.

PAYMENT METHOD: For all categories, the renter must provide a credit or debit card to cover all amounts pertaining to the guarantee, deposit and settlement of the full rental costs. A credit card is required for categories P1, P2, P3 and P4, regardless of whether the renter chooses to pay in cash or by debit card.

GUARANTEE: The estimated rental charge plus the amount of the guarantee must be approved and reserved in the customer’s credit or debit card. The amount shall be unavailable throughout the rental duration and shall be released upon the return of the vehicle, and provided that no additional charges shall have occurred. The release of the amount may take up to 14 days depending on the issuing bank's policy. The guarantee for categories Α, Β, D, AA, BA, DA, SC and F is €190, for categories E, EA, LC and MB is €290, and for categories P1, P2, P3 and P4 is €800.

DRIVING LICENCE: The driver must hold a driving licence issued at least one year prior to the date of rental. Non EU drivers must present an international driving licence as well as their national driving licence.

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: The minimum rental period is 24 hours. At the end of the agreed rental period, the renter shall be entitled to a 30-minute grace period to return the vehicle at no extra charge. Once the grace period expires, the renter shall be charged with an extra day’s rent.

FINES AND VIOLATIONS: All fines and administrative penalties imposed due to the fault of the driver shall be borne entirely by the renter.

INSURANCE: All drivers authorised by Move are covered against damages to the rented vehicle caused by fire, and also have third-party liability coverage for death, injury and material damages.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): The renter's liability for damages to the rented vehicle can be reduced, on condition that the Greek Highway Code is not violated, to a minimum amount of €650 for categories A, B, ΑΑ, BA and F, €800 for categories D, DA and SC, €1000 for categories Ε, EA, LC, MB and P1, €1300 for categories P2 and P3, and €2000 for category P4, by paying the amounts of €6, €8, €10, €12 and €15, respectively, per rental day. CDW coverage does not cover damages to the underside of the vehicle, the wheels and the tyres.

CDW PLUS COVERAGE: The renter can further reduce their liability to the minimum amount of €100 for categories A, B, ΑΑ, BA and F, €160 for categories D, DA and SC, €240 for categories Ε, EA, LC, MB and P1, €270 for categories P2 and P3, and €350 for category P4, by paying an additional amount of €7, €9, €12, €16 and €19, respectively, per rental day. CDW PLUS coverage does not cover damages to the underside of the vehicle, the wheels and the tyres.

THEFT PROTECTION (ΤΡ): Theft protection can reduce a renter's liability for total theft of the rented vehicle to €650 for categories A, B, ΑΑ, BA and F, €800 for categories D, DA and SC, €1000 for categories Ε, EA, LC, MB and P1, €1300 for categories P2 and P3, and €2000 for category P4, by paying an additional amount of €3, €4, €6, €10 and €12, respectively, per rental day. Total or partial theft of the vehicle caused by the renter’s negligence (e.g. leaving the key in the ignition or in the car, or leaving the car unlocked) shall not be covered.

INCIDENT ADMINISTRATION FEE: In the case of an accident caused by the driver, the latter shall be charged a fee of €10. This amount is non-refundable.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER(S): The daily charge for every additional driver is €5.00.

FUEL POLICY: The customer receives the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and is required to return it with a full tank. Should the customer return the vehicle with a smaller quantity of fuel, then they shall be charged for the fuel that was consumed, while a Refuelling Service Charge will also be applied.

REFUELLING SERVICE CHARGE: €12.00

BABY SEATS-GPS NAVIGATOR-SNOW CHAINS: Only available by booking for a daily charge of €4, €7 and €3, respectively.

CHANGES TO VEHICLE MODEL: The company reserves the right, depending on availability, to provide a different car model to that in the original reservation, which belongs to an equivalent or higher category.

COLLECTION/DELIVERY: Any collection/delivery taking place outside of any Move stations shall incur an additional charge of €14 within the city. If collection/delivery takes place outside the city, there will be an additional charge of €0.50/km for categories A, B, ΑΑ, BA and F, €0.90/km for categories D, DA, SC, Ε, EA, LC, MB, P1 and P2, and €1.10/km for categories P3 and P4. The charge for any deliveries/collections after hours is €20.

ACROSS-THE-BORDER RENTALS: Move vehicles may not be transferred across the borders.

FERRY TRANSPORT: This is only permitted with Move’s prior written consent. Any damages caused to the rented vehicle in transit shall not be covered by any insurance.

TAXES: All rates and charges in this brochure are subject to VAT. At certain stations, a municipal tax of 0.5% is charged on the rental price.
