DRIVER
For vehicle groups Α, Β, AA, BA and F the minimum driving age is 21 years and for all other groups 25 years.If the driver is from a European Union country, then they must present a driving licence issued by their country of origin. If the driver is from outside the EU, then they must present an International Driving Permit as well as their national driving licence. In all circumstances, the driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year.
ON-LINE RESERVATIONS / CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS - CHARGES:
For all vehicle groups, the driver must pay for the costs of the warranty, deposit and car rental with a credit or debit card. For groups P1, P2, P3 and P4 it is essential to use a credit card, even if the renter chooses to pay by cash or with a debit card. All known Visa and Mastercard (Credit or Debit) cards are accepted. Amex, Diners and CUP cards are not accepted.WARRANTY
The estimated rental cost and the additional warranty cost must be approved and guaranteed by the customer’s credit or debit card. The amount will not be available for the duration of the rental and will be released on the return of the vehicle and as long as no other charges have arisen. It can take up to 14 days for this amount to be released, depending on the issuing bank. The warrant is €190 for groups Α, Β, D, AA, BA, DA, SC and F, 290€ for groups E, EA, LC and MB and €800 for groups P1, P2, P3 and P4.COLLECTION
To collect the vehicle, the holder of the credit/debit card with which the reservation was made, and who will be registered as the driver, must be present.MODIFY RESERVATION
Through our website at www.moverentals.gr you can modify / change your reservation. If you modify your reservation then a new price is calculated, depending on vehicle availability and current prices. Modifications cannot be made to the name of the renter, credit/debit card number for the vehicle group and the location where the vehicle is to be collected (our rental station). You will have to cancel your reservation and create another.Two changes are permitted for each reservation.
CANCEL RESERVATION / NO-SHOW
For online reservations, if the cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to the start of the lease, then the amount of the lease will be refunded to your credit/debit card. If the cancellation is made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the lease then the amount refunded to your card will be the cost of the reservation minus a late cancelation fee, which is €20 plus VAT.For reservations made within 72 hours of the start of the lease that are subsequently cancelled, then the amount refunded to your card will be the cost of the reservation minus a late cancelation fee of €20 plus VAT.
If the renter is a no-show for collection of the car, then the amount refunded is the cost of the reservation minus the no-show fee, which is €25 plus VAT.
If during the collection of the vehicle, the prospective renter does not meet the necessary driver’s qualifications for age and driving licence as stated in the General Rental Terms then the reservation will be cancelled. In this case, you will be refunded the amount of the reservation minus the late cancellation fee of €20 plus VAT.
